William Penn Support Crew
Over the past few years discusion amongst the Wardens lead to the formation of the Wardens Association support crew this has been a join effort amongst many of the District 17 Wardens Crews. The support crew was formed to help benifit the Wardens crews on going on out of district assignments. As of September 15, 2011 we have recieved news form the Bureau of Forestry that we have been officialy reconized as a Support Crew within the Commonwealth of pennsylvania. With this annoucement this closes a 3 year long project that many members have worked hard to achieve. The William Penn Wildfire Support Crew is comprised of 56 members from all across District 17. Again Thank you to all that made this happen.
